Raymond Terrace Athletic Centre have been using Club Manager for well over a decade. It is easy to operate while being a sophisticated software solution, that simply works.
As Vice President to the Centre, I have personally seen how effectively Club Manager tracks our athlete information. The seamless integration of athlete registrations, event reporting and results through to the club website saves our volunteers time and gives them readily accessible information about their club. Club Manager is a cloud-based software system meaning it can be used from any laptop, desktop computer, tablet or phone.
We have recently implemented a very affordable photo finish timing system on our iPads called SprintTimer Pro. The developer of Club Manager has cleverly devised a race event system that when used in conjunction with SprintTimer Pro makes for a very useful recording system.
Once the athlete and event information is set up in Club Manager the program provides a start list file containing race information for use in the SprintTimer Pro app. After using the SprintTimer Pro app for race events, the results are easily imported back into Club Manager for recording and athlete notification via the included website. This means there is no more data entry for race results for our running events.
Club Manager effortlessly manages race information saving our volunteer committee members considerable time. In addition to this, field event results can be recorded straight into Club Manager trackside from an internet connected laptop or tablet device.
The support we have received from the developer has been excellent. Any issues or questions we have are dealt with promptly, usually within hours of the request.
Club Manager is a great ‘all-rounder’ when it comes to the effective management of an Athletics Centre. I would recommend Club Manager to any Athletic Centre.
